The preparations of the racemic [Cr(ox)(AA)2]ClO4 salts (AA = en, RS-pn and tn) are described. These have been resolved by the method of racemic modifications using the monohydrogen dibenzoyl-(+)-tartrate anion and the less soluble diastereoisomerides have been assigned to the Δ absolute configuration on the basis of the measured circular dichroism spectra.
